The sun is setting to the west and glancing across the tall grasses and heather on the long table top summit of Benbulben mountain in County Sligo. Walkers return to descend via the small mountain stream which flows down to the turf fields in the valley below. This view was composed on a walk in September and the painting was completed when I was back in my studio in Czech.
